ok folks, got some news for you all.... Sabrina Crabtree emailed me with some news.... I copied and pasted it for you all to read here it is:
HI!I love your site and thanks for all of the hard work! It killed me not to come to the reunion but my sons college orientation was on the 15th and my daughter started high school on the 18th! Talk about bad timing. PLEASE try to get a hold of reunion pics to post, I am soooo home sick and bummed to have missed everyone. I will be home for Coach Alvaro’s golf tournament next year so I hope to see as many old friends as I can fit into a week.lol! Now I must go and finish preparing for evacuation…living on the Gulf of Mexico is beautiful but so stressful and scary sometimes. It has only been 4 years since we went through hurricane Ivan! Pray for all who live in this area, Sabrina
...................................
That was a nice email if I should say so myself. I emailed Sabrina back and asked her to send me a picture of herself and that wonderful family she talks about, can you imagine we are all officially old enough to have kids going to college!! Wow!! and I thought mine starting high school this year was an epithany for me!
Anyways, gotta run and spread the word about the site so that I can get some serious traffic going on...
...and don't forget to remember her and her family in your prayers, they are facing hurricane season over there and like she mentioned in the e-mail they are evacuating the area she lives in right now so pray that they get through it safely...

HOW I LOOK NOW
I am asking that any alumni from the CHS class of 1988 to PLEASE submit a recent photo of themselves so that anyone visiting can see what you look like now. I think that this feature will be an awsome addition to the site and will generate many views and will allow us all to see how faboulous we look 20 years after we graduated from high school. Please email me your photo and I will post it on the site as soon as I get the opportunity to do so. I am looking forward to seeing all the great photos.
email them to: CHS_CLASS_OF_1988@yahoo.com

WEBMASTER NOTE
I decided to create this site so that the class of 1988 can contact each other and continue to communicate through pictures and updates of what we are doing, where we are and how our life in general is going.
If you would like to submit anything to the site, ideas, info or just say hi leave a comment or email me at:
CHS_CLASS_OF_1988@yahoo.com
If you would like your email added to the site just e-mail me and I will put a post with your name, and any info you provide with your email and a link to the left under " ALUMNI E-MAIL"

Alumni e-mails
If you are interested in submitting your e-mail to the site, I can do one of two things:
(1) Keep it "private"in my contacts folder so that I will be able to locate you as our 25th reunion nears and if anyone requests your e-mail I will send you an email to get your approval to give it to the requestee.
(2) Put your email with your name under the" ALUMNI E-EMAIL" section and allow anyone viewing the site to write down your e-mail and contact you directly.
The reason why I am doing this section is because I have visited other sites Like Classmates.com and CHS Alumni and have been frustrated with the fact that I have to PAY to use some of the sites features such as sending and receiving messages and emails.
Granted, security is a big concern and I take that very seriously that is why this site is VOLUNTARY and ONLY information that you choose to share will be posted.
If I get enough requests by the alumni I can change this site to a private setting and require users to sign in but if you are like me I just want to jump straight to the page, so unless I get an overwhelming response to make this site private it will stay public for anyone to view.

WHAT YOU DO
I am also interested in alumni sharing what they do for a living. It was one of the most asked questions at the 20Th High School reunion, so I wanted to give everyone the opportunity to brag about themselves and what it is that they do for a living. Please do not hesitate to share your story even if it is not what you consider a "success story" because we all have struggled in one way or another the last twenty years and I have my share of triumphs AND Failures along the way. I personally am at a point in my life that I am a stay at home mom and many would not consider that as a career choice but it is one of "my' greatest accomplishments and "I" consider myself very fortunate that we are able to have me stay home at this day and age where it takes two incomes to make ends meet. So, no matter how large or how small you think your contribution to society may be please share it with the rest of us.
FAMILY
I will welcome any pictures of classmates, families, pets and friends that you wish to share. I will post them as soon as I can get to them and they can be viewed in the " Alumni news " link to the left under "Family" anytime, if its not a current post anymore.
Please send me your pictures of your new babies, grandkids, graduations, vacations, trips, weddings or any special occasion that you wish to share and brag about.

MILITARY UPDATES
I will try to keep this site updated with current information about our class mates who served and are serving in the Armed Forces. I will also pay tribute to our class mates who are married to a soldier as they too serve our country. Please email me any and all information that you have on any classmate who you know that has served or is currently in the military.
If possible please give them my e-mail so that I can communicate with them personally and get all the pertinent information that I need such as years in service, rank, branch, tours and any medals and or awards received so that I can honor them as deserved.
I can be contacted at CHS_CLASS_OF_1988@yahoo.com
You will be able to view all "MILITARY UPDATES" under the "Alumni News" link to the left of the web page at any time.
